The Safe Word is 'Oklahoma' : A Movement Workshop with Dan and Shea

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Have you ever been given the note “get out of your head?” Great! So have we. It's probably what gets us in our heads the most, when people point out that we are getting "heady" in a scene or a monologue. How can we best help ourselves to work through those moments? Know how to get back into your body. With a variety of movement work pulled from Stanislavski, Commedia Dell’ Arte, even some crazy animal stuff from the one ear wonder David Lee-Painter of the famous Lee-Painters. We will work together to find how to keep our work present and in ourselves. We will sweat, we will laugh and we will leave thinking about not thinking so much.
